Compassion: Idealism - broad view, no reality; Concretism - narrow view, pure reality.

What we are looking for is a balance of matter of spirit at each point in reality. Physical Theology chapter 2 Compassion: we are looking for effective compassion at every level. This ranges from feeding a beggar on the street to developing a theory that eliminates the need for beggars altogether.
