I heard myself pouring a drink so I know I did it even though I am now having trouble finding the glass. Fantasy flowing free can go anywhere and lead to disaster. Like Christianity. We need grounding.

Backache, etc, ostensibly arising from crawling around an old house fitting a solar hot water system. But psycho as well as somatic. This period, following my apparent rejection by the Australian Catholic University, seems very similar to my post monastic period, a time of rapid adjustment to new circumstances. I was looking for an easy apodictic breakthrough based on a critique of Lonergan. They simply wouldn't listen, and without any

detailed criticism rejected the hypothesis on the grounds that it was doomed to fail. Like the Dominicans they really believe this and really think I am wrong because they work for an organization with the gift of absolute truth. This is presumably exactly the same sort of barrier as that faced by the quantum mechanics vis-a-vis the classicists and so on, and the only way to breach it is to develop a convincing case and hope that eventually someone with control over publication sees it and decides to invest in it. The idea of doing a book is a good one because it is taking the same product into a different market in a different package, but the repacking also focusses on the need to develop a usable model for practical applications. This mathematical model will provide a reasonable basis for proverbs such as 'a stitch in time saves nine', and will show us how to optimize the creation and distribution of the wealth necessary to maintain a society at peace with itself and its world. With this sort of product is ready, people will be bound to look to see if it has anything in it for them.

The specific power of God is to create and the highest object of creation is the creation of selves. We create ourselves by watching God create itself and so we are created in the image of God. But what is our image of God : the Universe as we know it or the spin promulgated by 'control freaks' ie those who overemphasize control? We seek the optimal level of control, which is aleph(n) in the set aleph(n+1) (?).

This is not what I set out to write down. Reading Nielsen and Chuang, Quantum Computation and Quantum Information. Nielsen & Chuang

In a way Thomas is my hero because I tend to agree with him on the definition of beatitude as thinking about ('seeing') God, the total system. As I sit here stoned

it gives me such pleasure that I am determined to catch it in words, as a winemaker might be to capture a flavour in wine : here it is - a realization of an idea. We cannot realize things that require infinite (non-halting) process, although we can imagine it, as in analysis. In the real world, if we are to survive, we must bring the product to market at a functional level of approximation if we are to recover the capital invested in development. As I become more realistic (and more fanciful) I dream of realizing say $100K pa for the 40 years I have worked on this, Ie float TTCo for $4M. Seems cheap!!

To crack fundamentalism, we establish that religion is recursive by exhibiting the circuit that realizes religion (?) This circuit is based on 'transfinite fanout' and may be understood by its inverse, 'transfinite fanin' - SET THEORY.

From a far flung conjecture we appear to be coming home, and the time is coming when we will know enough languages to document the trajectory.

Technology must become REVERSIBLE by RECYCLING.

The unitary transformation is the modern version of Aquinas' model of the trinity.

To see God in the world, we need quantum (= network) eyes. The fundamental constraint on the Universe appears to be unitarity, it UU* = 1, which reveals itself as conservation of probability. The theory of everything multiplies the probabilities revealed by realistic unitary operators, by ℵ0, say, giving a total 'rate of outcome' 1 x ℵ0 = ℵ0, which is the second frequency in the Universe, the first being 1. Now we say that there are unitary operators (eg Hadamard gate) that create a superposition of their input states, thereby creating aleph(n+1) states from aleph(n). ! generates by forming 1' = 1+1 etc or set theoretically 1 = the empty set, ie nothing considered as

a thing.

Although science eschews the first person singular, theology must take an exception, since the empirical foundation for my theology is my experience of myself and the model of myself which I use to understand myself. The Bible says that mankind was created in the image of God. We take the opposite view, that God is created in the image of humanity, as we are each in effect our own Gods. Seeing this in everybody else we can see that the structure of God is such that little Gods are descended from the one big God whose name is the initial singularity. By understanding one line of descent we can return back along it in mind to discover the harmony of union. This is the theory of peace. The fundamental proof of this mental reconstruction is that the evolution of the Universe is unitary, and unitary == reversible.

One might object that while isolated processes are unitary, this is not so for systems entangled with others. But such an entanglement can be seen as part of a larger unitary system. God has no exterior and is therefore by definition unitary.

God is at least as big as consistent mathematics, and probably as big as {inconsistent|} U {undecidable} U{consistent} propositions.

Nielsen, Michael A, and Isaac L Chuang, Quantum Computation and Quantum Information, Cambridge University Press 2000 Review: A rigorous, comprehensive text on quantum information is timely. The study of quantum information and computation represents a particularly direct route to understanding quantum mechanics. Unlike the traditional route to quantum mechanics via Schrödinger 's equation and the hydrogen atom, the study of quantum information requires no calculus, merely a knowledge of complex numbers and matrix multiplication. In addition, quantum information processing gives direct access to the traditionally advanced topics of measurement of quantum systems and decoherence.'
